The Wonder of the Gift

From the very beginning of Scripture, God has made one thing unmistakably clear: He does not intend to be distant from His people. The story of the Bible is not about humanity trying to reach God, but about God coming near to us.

As we once again celebrate this Christmas season we can not help but to remember God's wonderful gift to mankind. His Son Jesus Christ. From the opening pages of Scripture to the final "Amen" of Revelation, there is one unshakable truth that anchors our faith: God has never left His people alone.

The Bible reveals a God who draws near, a God who steps into our story, and a God who refuses to remain distant. As we open God's Word, remember this truth: God is with you, God is for you, and God is in you. And that changes everything.
