Candlewood Kids Presents:

You know the Christmas story. You know about Mary and Joseph.
You know about the shepherds. You know about the wise men.
But do you know what the sheep saw?
Because they were there.
And they have a LOT to say about it.

Auditions for speaking/singing lines are Sunday, September 27th 2pm-4pm.
Please sign up at the Information Center at Candlewood Church for your child's
10 minute audition spot.

Candlewood Elementary and Preschool will also be featured in the show during the pre-show on
Sunday morning service, December 20th.
Candlewood Worship Choir (Adults by invitation)
will be a part of the festivities and featured throughout the show!

Show Rehearsals for the Leads will be from 2pm-4pm on Sunday afternoons.

Cast of Characters


BABS
The prettiest and princessy of all the sheep. She likes her fluff to be the fluffiest white and does not like to get dirty. She is twins with Billy.
BILLY
Rough and tumble sheep. He likes dirt, wallowing in dirt, and wants to be as useful like the older sheep. He’s twins with Babs. He’s a bit of a mess but everyone loves him in the sheep fold.
BARNABY
The old fashioned and wisest sheep. He enjoys a good stretch in the field and a nice, long nap in the sun. He is very dependable and knows a lot of useful information. And is somewhat of a general around the sheepfold.
BEAU
The cool and hip sheep. He likes to stir up trouble, cause mischief, and often goes missing while he’s doing it. He is the baahddddest sheep around.
BRIDGET
Strong, motherly and dependable. She, like Barnaby, has been around the sheep fold for the longest and knows a lot of information. She is warm, friendly, and kind to all the sheep, even BEAU when no one else is.
BONNIE
The youngest of all the sheep. She is nervous and fearful of all the new experiences, but loves every new experience with her whole heart. She wants to be tough like Billy but often finds herself in trouble by doing so.
THE SHEPHERD
Takes care of the sheep and works hard to make sure they are all healthy, happy, and well taken care of. He takes pride in his work and wants to make the Innkeeper proud.
THE INNKEEPER
He is the owner and keeper of the inn. He is always frantic, hurried, and can’t be bothered. Although he is minimally seen, he plays a HUGE part in the Christmas story.
MARY
Mother of Jesus. About to have the baby and needs shelter at the inn.
JOSEPH
Father of Jesus. About to be a new dad. He is very anxious to find the perfect place for Mary to have her baby.
ANGEL
