Freedom of Will

Everyone loves the idea of freedom. Fewer people love what Paul says it actually requires. The Apostle who wrote more about freedom than almost anyone else in Scripture wasn't primarily interested in what we're freed from, he was captivated by what we're freed to. And here's where it gets interesting: freedom always comes with power, and power always reveals character. Do you consume it, wield it, or yield it? Paul's answer cuts straight across everything our culture assumes freedom means.
