The Power of Love: God’s playlist for others

What does Jesus mean when he tells his followers, “I’m giving you a new command?” Jesus already brought the summary, the cliff notes, to the entirety of the Old Testament Law on what God desires from us. That summary was to love God and love neighbors. Now, at the Last Supper, before the worst twelve hours of betrayal and beatings, Jesus gives the final word on how the love of God actually works. God’s love is not just powerful in us, but also through us.
