Sin separates us; it divides us. Our own self-determined will and decisions have separated us from God and each other. At the root of all our human problems lies division, animosity, and hatred towards one another. The devil divides. We must recognize our true enemy and move towards repairing that breech. Only in God and only from God can we find reconciliation, unity, love, and peace. Outside of God, there are only lies from the devil

and the selfishness of our own soul.
