At Candlewood Church, we strive to blend excellence, nurture, and Christian foundation building in each Children's Ministry (Kidmin) Community from Nursery to Elementary, all while having a great time together! We believe our kids are the next generation of Pastors, Leaders, Volunteers, and the future of the Church! The bible says,
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 (MSG) and we believe this to be 100% truthful. Each volunteer has been state background checked to ensure your child is safe, cared for, and happy!

Candlewood Kids Nursery
Coordinator: Candace Najarian
Candlewood Nursery is the perfect blend of loving volunteers partnering with families to create a safe community for babies and children, birth to 3 years old
(not potty trained). Here your child will get to know other kids their age and build community through play! During service in the Nursery, your child will receive attention, have their diaper checked or be taken to the potty when needed, receive a guardian provided snack or bottle, and have fun! It's important to us that your child is happy in a safe environment.

Adventure Kids Preschool/Kindergarten Class

Adventure Kids is the place you want to be if you are 3 (and potty trained) to 5 years old (in Kindergarten)! Your child will enjoy joining new friends as they explore our fun & kid friendly space, learn God's Word in age appropriate & fun ways. Here we start and continue building solid foundations in the Bible and Jesus! Service for our Adventure Kids starts with playtime together and then moves into lesson time with an age appropriate lesson and craft or activity. Kids will receive a small snack (pre-packaged) and as much water as they'd like during snack time. Guardian provided snacks are welcome if you'd like to provide for your own child.
Candlewood Kids Elementary

Candlewood Kids is the community for students from 1st grade - 5th grade. Our service consists of Bible lessons, snack, activities/games, object lessons, and on occasion, small group time. Candlewood Kids is not only the perfect place where kids can have fun, learn about God's Word in age appropriate and relevant ways, but also put that learning to practical use in their every day lives. We want to build community with every family that connects to our Kidmin that lasts beyond the classroom. Lessons are Bible based and thematic not only to holidays, but also to our vision. This year's vision for 2025 is "Come to the Table". We are learning that Jesus is preparing a place for us to be with Him in Heaven someday and that invitation is for everyone. It is our job to make sure we don't keep that invitation to ourselves and share that Gospel message to our friends and family! Did we mention we love Missions too? We have a mission mindset to see the Gospel spread and happily give to B.G.M.C. Missionary challenge every week!
